Return / Replacement Policy
Please take note that each piece of boatwood furniture is handcrafted and unique. Due to the use of reclaimed materials, variations in colour, texture, and markings are natural and should be expected. These variations are not considered defects but rather add to the charm and character of the furniture.
- We stand by the quality of our boatwood furniture. If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to arrange for a replacement or repair. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.
- All items are eligible for a return within 30 days, provided that the delivered products differ from the details, photos, and descriptions provided at the time of purchase.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

- If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
- We will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item if it is due to damage or a defect. For other returns, the shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Warranty Policy
Our furniture is crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products, offering the following warranty policy to ensure customer satisfaction:
- Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions.
- The warranty period is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
- This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, alterations, or damage caused by external factors (e.g., accidents, improper care, or extreme environmental conditions).
- Variations in colour, grain, or texture are natural characteristics of reclaimed materials and are not considered defects.
- Damage resulting from improper assembly or disassembly, exposure to harsh chemicals, or unauthorised repairs is not covered.

- Our team will assess the claim and determine the appropriate course of action, which may include repair, replacement, or a refund.
- Any transportation costs related to warranty claims, such as shipping the item to us for repair, may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise specified.
- Our liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the purchased item under this warranty.
- We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of our furniture.
- Whimnest’s decision on all issues relating to complaints regarding defects, either of workmanship or materials, shall be final and conclusive. Any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced shall be at Whimnest’s sole discretion.
